2024年HIMSS亞太健康會議暨展覽大會在韓國隆重舉行，中國醫藥大學附設醫院（簡稱中醫大附醫），榮獲2023 HIMSS全球數位健康指標(DHI)最高分評等、數位影像採用（DIAM）Stage 6、分析成熟度採用（AMAM）Stage 6與IT基礎建設採用（INFRAM）Stage 7等四項殊榮，成為今年HIMSS APAC為台灣唯一認證最高與最多之智慧醫院機構。

國際知名媒體《Newsweek》（新聞周刊）以及著名數據資料庫Statista盛大舉辦「2024年世界最佳智慧醫院（World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2024）」最新評比成果於台北時間9月13日晚間出爐，中國醫藥大學附設醫院上榜，獲選全球最佳智慧醫院。這也是今年六月榮獲國際智慧醫療頂尖大獎:「2023 HIMSS戴維斯卓越獎( HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence)」之後，中醫大附醫再獲全球醫療專家評選，榮獲世界頂尖智慧醫院前330強，臺灣名列前二，私立醫院龍頭寶座，位居第一。

46歲的張小姐，驗出罹患新冠肺炎，確診後張小姐病情急轉直下症狀加劇，出現嚴重呼吸衰竭，被診斷罹患「急性呼吸窘迫症(ARDS)」。轉送到中國醫藥大學附設醫院負壓隔離加護病房，緊急啟用葉克膜暫時替代她的肺部功能，並組成跨科「急性呼吸窘迫症（ARDS）團隊」，運用智慧醫療系統，即時監測數據變化施以關鍵呼吸治療-「肺保護通氣」。臨床文章發表在期刊影響力指標（Impact Factor）19.3高分的國際期刊外，陳韋成醫師獲得國內外獎項的肯定，台日急重症聯合學術會議最佳首獎報告獎，台灣急重症品質獎
